Very attentive and friendly customer service. One of the best. They really seem to care. We ordered the curry to share platter. The samosa sandwich. And the masala dosa. The curry was very well served and I liked the variety it provided. It even comes with some gulab jamun dessert. The samosa sandwich was tasty and the bread soft but a bit much for me. Of course I only tried three things and I didn't look at the menu extensively but I would have liked more healthy lighter fare. Also had the chikoo shake and mango lassi both delicious as well. The place is uniquely decorated and provides nice atmosphere.

Hard to find good Indian food in Texas and go figure there's one in Katy, Texas. Big bonus?!! It's vegetarian and vegan. Gluten free and fully grain free is tricky still because of cross-contamination but they have those options. The food is always consistently burn-your-butt SPICY and delicious. My go-to meal is loyally sada dosa which comes with 3 different dips and alu tikki cholay which can be made vegan by leaving out the yogurt topping. All vegan and gluten-free.

The people there are very nice. They have complementary sambar which is very tasty while you are waiting. I got the cholay bhature which was spicy and had the most wonderful bread. The pickle was quite good too. I ended with a masala tea which was nicely spiced and not overly sweet. I will be back to try more things.

Highly recommend Chowpatty Express! Great quality food, that tastes amazing and is well presented. Menu consists of the most popular street foods from India, but you can make a full meal of it. The prices are very reasonable and I hope they keep it that way. Sanjay was very professional and did a great job on our catering order as well.

Absolutely delish! I'm vegan-ish and appreciate the limitless menu options! I wish there were more pics to accompany dishes on the menu, to know which is which. Since I wasn't as familiar with the Indian influenced meals, I chose the sample platter. It's a smart offering. It comes with random smiley face potatoes and an overly salty dipping sauce. All dine-in meals include complimentary soup (flavorful and spicy) as well as purified water.
The pricing is $12-$17 p/person. More than average meal but healthy and big servings, so worth it.
Décor is cool with Bollywood movie covers hanging as wall art and even Bollywood flicks playing on the digital tv.
Staff is small, wait can be long during peek times like lunch. But even my kiddos will eat veggie dishes here. It is kid/family friendly.
The new Asian noodles for about $9 are easily our family fav. And the flatbread-mmmmm
Overall it's a 8.5
I'll regularly revisit
